OCCA would like to wish you all the best for 2012. We have quite an exciting year planned with a host of community events, activities including the return of the Peaks to Points Festival. We will of course be continuing work on our projects at Archerfield Wetlands, Granard Wetlands, CreekWATCH and more. A copy of our Business Plan will be available for download from the website shortly.
We'd also like to say goodbye to two OCCA staff who will be moving on this year. Leah Hattendorff, our hard working Brisbane City Council Creek Ranger will be leaving Council and will be greatly missed. As many of our members know Leah's wonderful support of many of our programs was crucial to their growth and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors. Steve Buttegeig our BSU manager will be pursuing his studies. In the short time that Steve was with us he brought a great deal of enthusiasm to the role and we hope that his great qualities are shared by BSU's new manager.
The OCCA Management Committee for 2012 is:
- Anne Clarke (President)
- Ray Ison (Treasurer)
- Dave Kent (Secretary)
- Lynn Whitfield
- Trevor Armstrong
- Phil Gunasekara
